Introducing Jeffrey R. Faul
NEW PRESIDENT ADDRESSES NUKEM, INC.’S FUTURE

NUKEM Inc.’s newly elected President and Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey R. (“Jeff”) Faul will be leading the company into the future – and taking the trading organization straight into the epicenter of the nuclear renaissance.

“Over the past 25 years, NUKEM, Inc., together with its parent NUKEM GmbH, have come a long way, and built a pre-eminent global presence as a major fuel supplier to the nuclear power industry.  We’ve grown our core businesses, expanded into new products to new markets, and are investing in the future. The end result is a company that stands poised for the nuclear renaissance ahead,” says Jeff Faul.

“I’m proud of NUKEM’s track record of increasing growth and customer support,” says Faul, adding, “There’s no better trading company, no better team in the industry."

The new president points to NUKEM’s commitment and dedication to its utility customers in providing uranium concentrates, conversion, and enrichment services – and about its long-established supply relationships, which enable NUKEM to offer secure supplies of fuel for nuclear power stations. “This has resulted in a long list of repeat customers and valued business partners over the past 25 years,” Faul says.

He also points to NUKEM’s expanded product line in recent years as the company branched out to market specialty metals, such as beryllium and isotopes.

Jeff Faul, who was NUKEM, Inc.’s Executive Vice President since 2001, took the helm on May 6, 2008.  Says NUKEM Chairman Wilhelm Plumpe about the appointment, “Jeff has done an outstanding job in his role as Executive Vice President, and we are confident that he is the person to lead the company successfully into the future.”

Jeff joined NUKEM, Inc. in 1998 as a senior trader and a year later was promoted to Vice President – Trading where he was responsible for the company’s trading operations on a worldwide basis.  He came to the company with 20 years of international marketing and commodities trading experience in various executive capacities.
